What We Do?
Fill a bucket with a couple capfuls of concentrated car cleaning solution and water (check manufacturer's directions for exact amount of cleaner to use). Wet down the entire surface of the car using a garden hose with a spray nozzle. Dip a sponge or washing mitt into the bucket and start on the roof of the car.
Dust the front panel, dashboard and console. Wipe it down with a microfiber cloth or vacuum away any dirt and grime for a quick fix. To give your dashboard a like-new look, spray nooks and seams with compressed air and wipe it down with a cloth dampened with an all-purpose cleaner like Car Guys Super Cleaner.
Vacuum cleaner is highly useful for cleaning cars. Its compact size and attachments allow you to effectively remove dirt, dust, crumbs, and debris from the car's interior. The nozzle attachments reach tight spaces like between seats and crevice.
Start by vacuuming the surface of the seat to remove any dirt and debris. Then, scrub lightly with a mixture of warm water and laundry detergent. If needed, mix in some white vinegar or baking soda to help deal with tough odors or mold growth. Rinse with cold water and let dry before using again.
Take a microfiber rag and wipe the window from top to bottom. Next, use a microfiber rag and isopropyl alcohol to clean and degrease the window. Spray a generous amount of cleaning solution on microfiber rag. Wipe in an up and down motion and then wipe from right to left.
Run a clean rag or sponge under warm water so that it's wet, but not dripping. Wipe down all the hard surfaces on the inside of your car prior to washing them. This will remove excess grunge from the surfaces of your car and prevent you from spreading dirt to your seats or floor.
Every car is different, but most should have their oil changed every 3,000 miles or three months. New vehicles usually require a change of oil every 6,000 miles or six months. Check your owner's handbook for specific guidelines. Consider a high-mileage oil for older vehicles.
The most common type of brake repair is brake pad replacement. Or, on older vehicles, a brake shoe replacement. Brake pads and shoes are the components of a brake system that generate the friction required to slow and eventually stop your vehicle. They're consumable parts, though, that wear down over time.
